Colony 04 Summary for 2021

Colony
Started the year a one of the best colonies. Doing very well until sudden swarming about 28th May. But swarm caught and continued to do well.

Very pleasing 48 lb for the year

Varroa Treatment
Formic acid in September= 2885 mites (very high)
Oxalic acid in December = 326 mites

Winter Feeding
Fed 8 kg sugar.

mainly black 4; some bees with yellow tergites
